Is the Maryland Black Robe Regiment an Anti-Government Militia?
Absolutely Not!
We favor a correctly run government in accordance with the founding intentions of the United States Constitution.
Though the name “Black Robe Regiment” has a militant ring, we do not condone violent action or the taking up arms in rebellion as an organization. We act to preach, teach, and stand firm to protect our God-given “Inalienable Rights” as Christian Citizens and Clergy. We stand to defend the integrity of the Constitution and the Godly founding of our nation. Through our parent organization, America’s Black Robe Regiment, we are part of a network of Pastors, Patriots, and Citizens of multiple denominations, doctrinal positions, and racial identities spanning Twenty-Two (22) states (as of 2024 and growing).
Is the Maryland Black Robe Regiment a Hate Group?
13 For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.

We do not harbor or promote hate on anyone! Sadly, we live in times where many identify disagreement and discourse as hate. We know there are those who do not agree with our Christian position on the affairs of our nation, Just the same there are views and positions we disagree with as well. But to disagree on matters and standing firm to our beliefs is the furthest thing from the definition of hate.

The Maryland Black Robe Regiment is a chapter of the America’s Black Robe Regiment. A coalition of Christian clergy representing 22 states of the United States and growing, that believe it is important for clergy, and Christian citizens to have an active voice in the polls and fate of our nation.
